Neighbor Help - Eligibility & Program Terms

Neighbor Help is a community assistance program operated by Fixeka to provide in-kind home services, including labor and/or materials, to households facing challenges at home. No cash awards are provided.
1. Program Purpose
Neighbor Help is designed to support households that may benefit from small home improvements, safety-related fixes, essential repairs, cleaning, organization, or basic comfort upgrades. The program focuses on need-based selection, not chance or random drawing.
2. Eligibility
The home must be within 30 miles of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; the nominee must be at least 18 years old; the nominator must have permission to share the nominee's information; the home must be reasonably safe and accessible; and the requested project must fall within the program's service capabilities.
3. Selection Process
Neighbor Help is not a lottery. Nominations are reviewed based on household needs, urgency, safety considerations, and the potential impact of assistance. One household may be selected each month, and selection is not guaranteed.
4. Scope of Assistance
Neighbor Help provides in-kind home services, not cash. Assistance may include minor repairs, safety improvements, cleaning, organization, comfort upgrades, and other small projects within a reasonable program scope.
5. Service Providers
All work is performed by independent vetted professionals. Fixeka coordinates scheduling and communication but is not liable for contractor delays, availability, or conditions discovered on-site that prevent work from being safely completed.
6. Nominator Responsibilities
By submitting a nomination, the nominator confirms they have permission to share nominee information, provides accurate contact information, responds to reasonable follow-up questions, and allows Fixeka to contact the nominee about potential services.
7. Privacy & Use of Information
Fixeka collects nominee and nominator information solely to administer the Neighbor Help program. Information is not sold or shared with third parties except with professionals as needed to perform services.
8. Program Modifications
Fixeka may modify, pause, or discontinue the Neighbor Help program at any time, including changes to service area, eligibility criteria, monthly support volume, service value, scope, or these terms.
9. Non-Discrimination
Fixeka does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, age, or any other protected class in the administration of the Neighbor Help program.
